Hollandia has won a Dutch Game Award (= like the Dutch Oscars for games)!! We were nominated in the category for best student game and won! A full report on the evening can be found here. The originality of the concept and professional development were one of the main reasons we received the award. We will now develop Hollandia further and try to get the game published in 2010!

This weekend I also travelled to Groningen to give a presentation in the comic-museum about my manga-studies in Japan. I had a great time there! The museum is very interesting and shows all Dutch comics, including the sketches and paintings. I’d never been there before but it is really worth a visit!!

Also, I will give a presentation during this game festival in Amersfoort about Dutch Game Design. It will all happen on Novembre 12th. I’m really excited!

Last weekend I was also at the GameXperience in Hilversum to present and promote Hollandia, and give drawing workshops to young children. It was a lot of fun!

In the meantime I made some new drawings you can find in the Art section or just click below. And I’ve been playing Uncharted 2 which is now my favourite game :)
